I'm currently enrolled in a class at Arizona State University titled Entrepreneurship for Engineers. The class is taught by Michael Lechter, writer of Other People's Money and Protecting Your Number One Asset (Rich Dad, Poor Dad Series). We talk mostly about patents and protecting your intellectual property through signed documents. One of the inventions that was shown to us tonight that was actually patented in 2000 was a method for swinging on a swing. Yup that's right, anything under the sun can be patented! Now if I could only think up my own creative methods for a swing, I'd be rich!
